Listly privacy policy
The short version. Listly is a Chrome extension for real-estate professionals. You type an address; it reads comparable sales through your own RPR® login and shows a value. It is built to read, not to write, and to keep as little about you as possible. This page says exactly what it touches.
What Listly reads, and where it goes
RPR data, in your browser only. When you run an address, the extension uses the RPR session you are already signed into to read that property's facts, listing remarks, and nearby closed sales (including listing photo links). All of that stays on your computer. Listly's servers never receive addresses, comps, values, photos, or anything from RPR.
Nothing is written to RPR or your MLS. Listly does not change property facts, create CMAs, save searches you didn't run, or store anything in your RPR account.
Road map data. To apply rules like "never cross a major street" and to draw the map, the extension asks OpenStreetMap's Overpass service for the major roads, rivers and rail lines inside a box roughly a mile across around the subject. That request contains the box, not the address. The roads are cached on your computer for up to 30 days.
Map image (when enabled). If a Google Maps image is enabled for the product, the extension requests a static map from Google showing the subject and comp locations. Google receives those coordinates and Listly's map key, under Google's own privacy policy. Without it, Listly draws its own map from the road data above.
What is stored on your computer
- Your comp rules and profile name, and the last few addresses you searched (so they're one click away next time). These live in Chrome's extension storage; if you have Chrome sync turned on, Chrome syncs them between your own devices. Listly's servers never see them.
- Your license key (your login), only if you tick "Remember me"; otherwise it is kept for the browser session. A random install id so the license service can count computers.
- The road cache described above.
Removing the extension deletes all of it.
What the license service keeps
The extension contacts the Listly license service when you sign in, about once a day after that, and after each comp run. The service keeps, per license key:
- the key, the email address and Stripe customer id from your purchase, and your subscription status;
- a one-way hash (fingerprint) of your RPR user id, so one key can't be shared across RPR accounts. The service cannot turn that hash back into your identity and does not store your RPR username, email, or password;
- the random install ids of the computers using the key, with the date each was last seen and the extension version;
- a count of comp runs per day — a number only, never an address or a result.
That is the complete list. No addresses, no comps, no values, no browsing activity.
Payments
Purchases and billing are handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, never to Listly. Stripe's handling of your data is covered by Stripe's privacy policy. Listly receives your email address and a customer id from Stripe in order to issue your key and honor your subscription.
Sharing and selling
Listly does not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone. The only third parties that receive anything are the ones named on this page (RPR, through your own login; OpenStreetMap's Overpass service; Google Maps if the map image is enabled; Stripe for payment; the AI provider behind the website chat, described below), each for the purpose stated, and our hosting provider (Netlify), which runs the license service and this website.
Permissions the extension asks for
- Side panel — the Listly panel itself.
- Storage — your rules, recent addresses, sign-in, and the road cache, on your computer.
- Scripting and access to narrpr.com — to read comps through the RPR tab you are signed into. Listly runs only on narrpr.com and does not read other sites or your browsing history.
This website
No tracking cookies, no third-party analytics. ListlyHome.com sets no cookies. To see how the site is doing we keep our own, first-party visit counter: a random id in your browser's storage (not a cookie, never shared) with the page you viewed, the time, the site that referred you, your device type and browser, and which buttons you clicked. No IP address, no name. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, the counter is switched off. The site also keeps two preferences in your browser — your light/dark choice and where you were on a page — and neither is sent anywhere.
Sign-up and your setup call. When you sign up we ask for your name, email, mobile number, license state and number, and brokerage, so we can confirm you're a licensed agent, and the time you pick for your setup call, so we can call you. That's kept with your license record. Card details are taken through Stripe on or after the call and never touch Listly.
Chat. If you use the chat bubble, what you type is sent to Listly's chat service and forwarded to an AI provider to generate a reply. Conversations are kept for up to 90 days so a person can review the questions people ask and improve the answers; they are not linked to your license key unless you give it in the chat. Don't put client information in the chat.
Account page. When you enter your key on the account page, the license service returns the status of that key and the computers using it. Nothing else is looked up.
Hosting logs. Like any website, our host (Netlify) records standard request logs — IP address, page requested, browser type — for a short period, for security and to keep the site running.
Retention and deletion
License records are kept while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for billing and support, then deleted. To have your record deleted sooner, or to ask what is held for your key, reply to your Listly purchase receipt or contact us through ListlyHome.com. Everything on your computer is deleted when you remove the extension.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new effective date. Material changes are also noted in the extension's release notes.
